Innovate or die has become a mantra for many beauty companies. In fact, many companies abuse the word INNOVATION; however, if innovation is that simple, it is not true innovation but RENOVATION rather.

This presentation will examine innovation from perspectives of concept, ingredients, formulation, packaging and customer experiences.  Additionally, market examples in beauty will be given.  Furthermore, challenges in innovation will be examined as well as strategies to deliver the best products to consumers regardless it is innovation or renovation.
